The Intensive English Program (IEP) is for people who want to enter universities, seminaries and colleges in the United States. It is also for people who wish to improve their English skills for career advancement.

IEP students come from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Chad, Ethiopia, Bolivia, China and other countries. You will enjoy small classes of 4 to 10 students.

Based on a university campus, the IEP includes 20 hours per week of English instruction from highly qualified, experienced teachers. Videos, computers and other audio-visual equipment are used regularly in instruction.

Location
EMU is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The hillside campus-safe, quiet and clean-is at the edge of the small city of Harrisonburg. Nearby are historical sites, a ski resort and Shenandoah National Park with its famous Skyline Drive.

University
Eastern Mennonite University offers a complete liberal arts education to its 1,300 students. The campus includes a large undergraduate program, a theological seminary and three small graduate programs. EMU, founded by the Mennonite Church in 1917, emphasizes Christian values of peace, social justice and community.
