THE HOUSE & THE TOWN
The house is a typical American home in a typical American suburb. It is in a nearby suburb of one of the greatest cities in the world, New York! Enjoy the fun and excitement of living near the Big Apple!

THE ROOM & THE BOARD
The house is large with three available bedrooms. Twin beds will be in each room so each room will be shared. Two large bathrooms will be shared by the group of 5-6. The arrangement will be typically American. This program will immerse you in American lifestyle unlike other schools and programs.

Meals are included Monday mornings through Thursday afternoons. American style breakfasts, delicious lunches and traditional homecooked dinners will be served during the week while the classes are in session. A large kitchen will be shared by everybody. The group will enjoy a personal family like atmosphere. Conversations will be in English at mealtime and considered additional practice time or "language lab". You'll get a real taste of American life!

THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS & THE CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
The language lessons will consisit of four hours a day of English lessons. The schedule will be Monday to Thursday afternoons so as to allow long weekends for travel. The classes will be taught in very small groups of 3-6. This will enable a great deal of individual instruction, catering to the personal needs of each student.

Interesting fun and useful information on American culture, art, music and travel will be a major topic in classroom discussions.

The classes are taught by an experienced English language teacher who taught in New York City Public Schools for five years. She has permanent state certification in the state of New York to teach English as a Second Language on all levels and to all ages. She has a Master's of Art Degree from New York University. She graduated from N.Y.U.'s School of Education in 1992, where she studied the Methods of English Language Teaching, the stages of Language Acquisition, Linguistics and Grammar.

THE EXTENDED WEEKENDS
Extra long weekends will allow plenty of time to travel to all of the many exciting nearby cities- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Boston, Massachusetts, etc.
