THE OLIN CENTER EXPERIENCE

Hello! I am an advisor at the Olin Center in Boston, Massachusetts and I understand that choosing the right school can be difficult, so I have decided to help.
Here are some reasons why the Olin Center
might be the best choice for you:

If you are looking for. . .

An Excellent Location

The Olin Center is located on Newbury Street, Boston's most fashionable shopping and residential area. We are close to over 30 universities and colleges, including Harvard University, Northeastern University, MIT, and Boston University.

A Small School

Each month we have approximately 65 students at the Olin Center. English classes have approximately 6 - 8 students and TOEFL classes have approximately 12 - 15 students. Our small size really allows you to get to know your classmates, students like yourself, who come from all over the world.

Skilled Instructors

Knowledgeable, resourceful, and creative are three words that immediately come to mind when describing the instructors at the Olin Center. While they come from a variety of educational backgrounds, they all have one thing in common, they are effective teachers. Our instructors are dedicated to giving personal attention to each student.

Helpful and Friendly Staff

Do you have a question? We can help you! Whether you want to know your class schedule or where to buy winter boots, the staff at the Olin Center can help. We pride ourselves on knowing all students by their first name, thus creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We work closely with each student to ensure that his or her time at the Olin Center is both a productive and memorable one.

Educational Programs

Since many of our students continue their higher education in the United States after they leave us, we invite representatives from local universities to speak to our students. We also offer workshops on topics such as financial aid, resume writing, and interviewing skills, to assist our students with all aspects of the college and graduate school admissions process.

Social Activities

Dinner at the Hard Rock Café? Canoeing on the Charles River? These are just a sample of the activities that are planned throughout the year at the Olin Center. Students are encouraged to take advantage of these outings and truly experience Boston.
